Eden Wild Goose Nature
Eden Wild Goose is developing 'EWG Nature' in our community with a view to exploring, caring for and appreciating nature in our locality.
We plan to draw together a cross section of people, beginners or more experienced with interest from bugs to birds, soil to water, art to science… who would be keen to enjoy nature with others. We hope people will move from Curiosity to Appreciation and from Celebration to Action and Opportunity, CACAO. The Cacao pod brings good things to life. Although we may not be growing Cacao here , it is the source of cocoa butter and chocolate that we enjoy.
The vision of Eden Wild Goose Nature is to encourage and enable people to engage with wildlife and nature through...
Curiosity about the world around us,
Appreciation of our part in it,
Celebration of the good it brings,
Action to protect it,
Opportunity to encourage others in the same circle of life.
There are many thoughts on how we might proceed with the Eden Wild Goose Nature, including learning to recognise birdsong, species identification, nature walks, wildflower meadow and gardening and encouraging children and family involvement.
