Thanks to generous donations from our two congregations, funding has been found to continue the work of our Children and Family Worker project.
Hopefull a replacement for James will be found and in position for the start of the new school year in September. Do please pray for the CFW steering group as they look to recruit a replacement.

We are pleased to announce that the Reverend Graeme Skinner, currently vicar of St Mary's Upton, in the Chester Diocese, has been appointed by the Bishop of Carlisle as Mission Community Leader of our new Mission Community,  (West of Brampton) and priest in charge of Holme Eden and Wetheral with Warwick. Graeme and his wife, Philippa, are looking forward to joining us in Cumbria in July and we welcome them as we proclaim the Lords Good News and God for All in North East Cumbria. 
The licensing service for Graham Skinner as Mission Community team leader will take place at Wetheral Parish Church on July 3rd at 7.30 pm followed by  refreshments at St Paul's Holme Eden. More details to follow.

Church Elections Sunday 29th April

We are able to report that David Kemp and Alan Massey were elected as Churchwardens with Mike Crawley as Deputy Warden.  Keith Danby has resigned as secretary and the post is vacant.
