Other Activities

Listed below are some of the groups
that take place across the parishes on a regular basis.

Prayer Groups

Across our parishes we have small groups that meet during school term time
to study the bible together in a relaxed environment.
We also meet for prayer on Friday mornings at 10.30 am.
For more information on these groups please contact us.

Mothers' Union

There is a Mothers' Union group that meets monthly.
The MU branch leader is the Rev'd Susan Holmes.
Please contact Mrs Joyce Patterson (secretary) on 01228 560672 for details.

Cameo

Come And Meet Each Other, takes place at Holme Eden
on the first Wednesday in the month from 2.30 to 4.pm.
If anyone requires transportation or more information,
please ring Dorothy Raddon on 01228 561199 or Connie Eddy on 01228 561887.

Holme Eden Music Group

Based at St Paul's church, the music group
is an informal group of musicians and singers
who provide appropriate hymns and modern music for the weekly services
at St Paul's and at All Age Worship services at Holy Trinity, Wetheral.
The group has more recently started 'Big Sing' nights,
where modern and traditional church music is showcased, together with requests.
All are very welcome to join, no auditions required
and all voices and musicians would be most welcome.
The group meets at 7 pm on most Tuesdays at St Paul's church.
(Please see the Calendar section of our Website)
Contact Alan Massey 07749223392 for more details.

Men's Breakfast

17th March 2020 notice

The coronavirus is going to be around for some considerable time and,
in line with advice from Carlisle Diocese and Government health professionals,
a decision has been taken to cancel
both the breakfast planned for Saturday 4 April
and the dinner on Thursday 21 May.
Whilst this will be very disappointing these are extenuating times
and we must all take appropriate steps
to protect ourselves and others
and minimise the risk of the transmission of this virus.
Preparation of the programme for the coming autumn/winter
is well advanced and a copy will be sent out by email later in the year –
hopefully we will be able to re-convene on Saturday 5 September and,
in the meantime, please take care and be well.
