Welcome to Eden Churches!

We are an Anglican church community based at St Paul's Church, Holme Eden (just outside Warwick Bridge) and the Church of the Holy Trinity and St Constantine, Wetheral.

We have a mixture of different services across the month, as well as lots of social events and clubs.  There's something for everyone, whether you've been going to church your whole life, or whether you've never set foot in a church before.

Upcoming Special Events at Eden Churches!

 Candlemas Evensong - 2nd February:
At 6pm on 2nd Feb, Wetheral Choir will celebrate the beautiful festival of Candlemas - the Presentation of Christ in the Temple - when Simeon and Anna, who had waited their whole lives to see the Messiah, met Christ Jesus as a baby in the Temple.  With the words of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, and music by Eccard, Bairstow and Amy Beach, this candlelit service marks the end of the Christmas story.

Lent Course - 'Temptations, Repentance, Journey and Hope…' - Starts 12th March:
The Rev'd Isaac Lawrence at Scotby Cotehill and Cumwhinton Parish (SCC) are holding a series of Lent talks this March and April, and all members of Eden Churches are invited to participate!  It would be lovely if a good number of our parishioners attended - perhaps a few people could car-share for some of the sessions!
If you'd like to come along, please let Isaac know as soon as possible, so he can have a rough idea of numbers, by emailing revisaac.lawrence@gmail.com
The sessions will be as follows:
